Placement guide

Evaluate Locations for a Vending Business

Traffic volume alone does not make a location suitable. Strong placements combine repeat customer need, workable site conditions, clear host terms, and a service route the owner can support.

Demand and alternatives

Understand who will use the equipment, why they need it, how often they return, when the site is active, what food and drink alternatives are nearby, and which products fit the setting.

Site readiness

Verify space, floor access, power, connectivity, temperature, security, delivery access, servicing hours, and any building approvals. Smart formats may need stronger connectivity and more customer-flow planning.

Agreement questions

Clarify who owns the host relationship, term length, renewal, termination, exclusivity, service expectations, insurance, commissions or rent, relocation, and the process for removing equipment.

Route economics

Map travel time, parking, load-in distance, refill frequency, storage, and nearby sites. A lower-volume stop near other locations may fit a route differently than an isolated stop with more traffic.
